Intranets
Working with closed-user groups to determine and develop a web driven community communications channel is a huge strength of the DNA4schools offering. We are experts at talking with a complete cross section of internal stakeholders, academic staff and administrators to align and agree the requirement and the way forward.
We find school intranets absolutely fascinating. They provide an organic ‘living and breathing’ web environment provide that delivers immediate feedback on best working practice. That in turn gives us the opportunity to craft and refine architecture and messaging and ensure an ongoing structure that delivers to everybody’s expectation.
At one level the school extranet can be an easy conduit of communication between faculty and students, but can also be developed in such a way as to become an interactive learning environment.
We passionately believe that the school intranet should be seen as an entity in itself and differentiated from the other purposes of the website. Both may be web enabled, and both may be content managed in the same way, however in order to be ‘fit for purpose’ they need to be envisaged independently.
